Members are also offered discounted rates and private access for all MABC events and joint events with other bilateral business councils, the Australian High Commission, Malaysian Government Ministries, etc.

The MABC acts as a facilitator of information relating to trade and investment opportunities, practices, and regulations in Malaysia and Australia. Members are invited to regular briefings/talks on various business-related topics, including business centric webinars on the latest issues affecting businesses. Furthermore, members are given a free subscription to the MABC newsletter to be informed of upcoming events from MABC partners and promotions from other MABC members, as well as regular updates of business news including visits by Australian government representatives to Malaysia and Malaysian Government officers.

Members have access to industry focused dialogues with the Malaysian Government, providing the opportunity to address issues faced by individuals and their companies. MABC is active in dialogues with local government agencies and departments and can help give your business a stronger voice on issues that affect you, your employees, and your customers. The MABC also maintains close links with the Australian High Commission, AUSTRADE, Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) and Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA), providing a comprehensive web of resources to help the council advocate on behalf of members for favorable policies.
